Recipes - Shrimp Scampi


  • 1 lb linguine
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp Spice Krewe Bayou Seasoned Salt
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. Add the fresh lemon juice and white wine to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook until the liquid has reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Spice Krewe Bayou Seasoned Salt over the shrimp and sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, if necessary.

  6. Toss the cooked linguine into the skillet with the shrimp and sauce. Add chopped parsley and toss to combine.

  7. Garnish with additional chopped parsley and serve immediately.
